Helen H's quilt
Helen H is a mistress of Improvisation, and many of her blocks will show your own style to advantage

Helen B's quilt
Helen B is the queen of foundation piecing, and has a taste for 3D illusions..

Each has their own ideas about colours and styles, and together they have made a new and exciting set of blocks; the resulting quilt can be re-arranged to make it truly yours. The blocks will prove useful for all manner of other projects, too

Heather's take...

What you need:-

This is a machine sewing class - you need a sewing machine but even the most basic ones will do all of this.
Scissors, pins, a cutter and ruler, your glasses, some thread (cotton thread, please!)
You will also need good quality new cotton fabrics - at least 6 quarter-metres of different fabrics, plus 1 metre of a background colour (Quilt shops sell fabric in "fat" quarters, these are fine..)
Make sure you have some dark, medium and light colours and not-too-large prints

You will need to do some sewing at home to get the most out of this

Be warned, patchwork and quilting are compulsive...
