Coptic Bookbinding This is one of the oldest and most interesting of techniques, using rigid boards and an exposed spine with visible stitching. The individual page signatures are surrounded by "interesting" papers and are visible at the spine of the book.. No glues are involved and these are all individually made, and all unique. All have writeable pages as described in each individual listing... The covers are decorated with fabrics The binding is made by hand, and is both functional and decorative..
