Please Bring:-
Cotton fabrics - I used (for the sample) a half-metre of one very dark colour (navy), plus about 1 metre of white or a light colour (make sure this is fairly opaque) and a selection of pieces in fairly plain colours, or tone-on-tones that read as plain; the sample uses red, orange, and three more blues.
The sample has 16 blocks but you are unlikely to make this many in the class
Ruler, rotary cutter and mat
Threads for piecing - a good neutral cotton thread will do most things
Pins, scissors, general sewing stuff
Sewing machine (nothing fancy required) with regular foot, manual, bobbins, foot pedal, and
Don't forget your glasses!
This is a Machine Sewing class..
This class is available as two part (3-hours each time) Zoom sessions; expect to make enough blocks for a cushion or bag, and carry on later to make a bigger quilt...
